The Jungle

Early Preschool

Big feelings. Big discoveries. Growing independence.

2 years until potty trained

Two-year-olds have so much to say—and so much they’re still figuring out. Our Jungle classroom serves children from age two until they are potty trained, with short group activities, familiar routines, and plenty of movement. Teachers help them communicate, make friends, and practice new skills.

Supporting your child’s development

What Your Child Will Be Learning

01

Finding the words

Songs, stories, gestures, and everyday conversation help children build vocabulary and communicate what they want, need, and notice.

02

Learning to be together

Teachers help children name feelings, join play, wait for a turn, and ask for help. These skills take time and plenty of practice.

03

Small hands, big ideas

Scooping, painting, building, dancing, and exploring materials build coordination. Letters, counting, colors, and shapes appear in play and short activities.

04

“Let me try!”

Washing hands, putting things away, following simple directions, and helping at mealtimes build confidence one manageable step at a time.

A familiar beginning

A warm welcome, breakfast, and choices help children settle in. Short group experiences alternate with active play and exploration.

Care is part of the day

Diapering or potty training, handwashing, meals, and rest are chances to build trust and practice independence.

Time to reconnect

Afternoon snack, music, books, creative play, and movement carry us toward pickup and a check-in with family.
