Ms. House, Center Director

About Ms. House

Ms. House is Kingston Academy’s Center Director. She brings more than 25 years of experience in early childhood education, child development, and school leadership. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Growth and Development, and her graduate studies at Brandman University, now UMass Global, are toward a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational Psychology and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology. She has also passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) and the Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) school psychology exam. Her background helps her understand how children learn, connect with others, and grow—and how to support the families and teachers alongside them.

She believes children learn best when they feel safe, understood, and encouraged. Her approach combines hands-on learning, play, creativity, and classroom routines that help children build confidence and independence. She works with teachers and families to support each child’s development.

Outside of Kingston, Ms. House enjoys nature, writing poetry, visiting quirky museums, and spending time with family and friends. Her guiding words are: “Teach with purpose, lead with kindness, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.”
